Jonah Levine

Gloria Flora

Gloria Flora is the Director of the U.S. Biochar Initiative and Executive Director of Sustainable Obtainable Solutions, an organization she founded 11 years ago. Last century, she was a leader in the U.S. Forest Service. Her expertise in sustainability, climate change, public lands and the human relationship with our landscapes has brought her national recognition and numerous awards, including having a rare species of toad named after her.

Founded Carbon Gold in 2008 to establish biochar as a means to restore degraded soils, enhance organic farming and sequester carbon dioxide to reverse climate change
