Sunne Wright McPeak

Sunne Wright McPeak is the President and CEO of the California Emerging Technology Fund (CETF), a statewide non-profit organization whose mission is to close the Digital Divide by accelerating the deployment and adoption of broadband. She assumed the position as the CETF first chief executive in December 2006 after serving for three years as Secretary of the California Business, Transportation and Housing Agency for Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Richard Heinberg

Richard Heinberg is the author of ten books including The End of Growth: Adapting to our New Economic Reality, Blackout: Coal, Climate, and the Last Energy Crisis, and Powerdown: Options and Actions for a Post-Carbon World. He is Senior Fellow-in-Residence of the Post Carbon Institute and is widely regarded as one of the world’s foremost Peak Oil educators. Heinberg has authored scores of essays and articles that have appeared in such journals as Nature, The Ecologist, The American Prospect, Public Policy Research, Quarterly Review, The Futurist, European Business Review, Earth Island Journal, Yes!, and Pacific Ecologist. He has appeared in many film and television documentaries, including Leonardo DiCaprio’s 11th Hour, and is a recipient of the M. King Hubbert Award for Excellence in Energy Education.
