The United States Biochar Initiative (USBI) has selected the Sonoma Biochar Initiative (SBI) in partnership with the Sonoma Ecology Center to host the 2012 US Biochar Conference in Sonoma County, California from July 29 to August 1, 2012.

This is the web form to submit an abstract on your use of biochar or your related research. (See the call for papers)

Abstracts are requested covering all aspects of biochar use, production, and research -- from agricultural and other biochar users, biochar producers, scientists, engineers, students, policy analysts and policy makers. We seek abstracts of 200-300 words on one page including graphics.

The first call for abstracts concluded at midnight on February 10, 2012. These papers will be given priority review and notification of acceptance. The second call for abstracts concluded at midnight on March 12, 2012.

Completing this form is the way to be considered to present your paper or a related oral presentation at the 2012 US Biochar National Conference. All presentations will be selected from abstracts received and reviewed by our program committee. All abstracts will be considered for posters.
